Having a pet is a true honor and gift!

With that gift also comes the responsibility of taking care our home and keep our house clean under new rules, to protect our entire family, including our 4-legged family members.

That's why today we want to share with you some other tips to keep your house in perfect condition. You can see our Part I here 

1- Keep all your pet's items in one place

There's nothing worse than having to take out your dog for a walk and not finding the essentials: leash, waste bags, etc. By simply putting everything in a basket you can save a lot of time. Also, having everything in one place will make your space look much more organized.

2- Have a vacuum cleaner that washes carpet and sofa

There are some very small vacuum cleaners specialized for cleaning and for washing small carpets and sofas.  These are great because you can get rid of small stains (aka accidents) and deodorize upholstered furniture making your home smell fresh all the time.

3- Bathe your pet as often as recommended

Yes, it is a job and another thing to put on your already long to-do list, but you pet and your house will thank you. Please make sure you consult your vet how often is recommended to bathe your fur baby as some breeds should not be bathed too often.

4. Get them pedicures

You don't need to bring them to a salon! Just make sure you trim their nails so they don't scratch your floors or furniture.

5. Remove fur from upholstery

Having a lint roller is great for not only to remove fur from your clothes, but also to remove fur from lamp shades, throw pillows and furniture. Another great way to remove fur from your sofas is by using rubber gloves and 'scrape' fur with your gloved hands!

6. Change litter

Make sure you clean up your cat's litter box every day and change litter once a week. That way your kitty doesn't walk on dirt to do his/her business. Remember those paws will be walking around your home, including your sofa!
