When it comes to cleaning tools we all immediately think of the regular store-bought items. However, there are some items that are not specifically designed to clean, but they will make your cleaning process so much easier!

Today we want to share our best kept secrets with you and how we use these "tools' while cleaning.

1- Toothbrush

The toothbrush is perfect for all the small spaces and crevices that we need to clean and remove dirt, such as the shower head!

They are great to clean in between tiles and small crevices that need some elbow grease.

2- Makeup brush

Makeup brushes are perfect for our daily makeup of course! However, they are also very useful to clean delicate items and where we do not want to take the risk of damaging them either because we are using a large tool or a tool that can scratch them.

They are also great to remove dust from narrow places where a regular duster won't get into!

3- Lint roller
Lint rollers not only serve to clean our clothes from our pets' hair. They are also great to use it on pillows and bed covers. Give it a try and you'll be amazed how much dirt you will remove. They are also great to clean delicate surfaces that tend to collect dust, such as lampshades and speaker covers since the vacuum might be to harsh on these surfaces.

4- Painter's spatula
A painter's spatula works great to remove stuck dirt on surfaces such as tape film from a window. Just wet the surface and scrape the film away. If the area you are cleaning is more delicate, you can use a plastic spatula to avoid scratching surfaces.
