Cleaning Protocols

Our job is to maintain homes and work places clean. That's why we have developed (and updated) some cleaning protocols to keep our client's spaces clean and protected with the advice of CDC.

General Worker’s Protocols

· Wear mask when less than 6 ft apart - in the apt and building public areas

· Wash hands as soon as getting to job site

· Avoid physical contact with other people like shaking hands

· Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth

· Use hand sanitizer as needed

· Stay home if not feeling well. You will be notified if we need to cancel or switch cleaning person.

In addition to the above, our entire team is being provided with equipment
·Masks
·Extra disposable gloves
·Regular testing as soon as they are available for everyone

Cleaning Protocols

· Wash hands frequently while cleaning

· Wash hands when finishing one area and before starting the next one

· Wear gloves as much as needed while cleaning

· Wear gloves when discarding garbage and wash hands immediately after

· Clean and disinfect restrooms in detailed: toilet, sinks, showers, faucets, toilet handle

· Extra cleaning and disinfecting high-touch-surfaces every visit such as:

- Light switches
- Door knobs
- Remote controls
- Kitchen cabinet handles
- Kitchen sinks and faucets  
- Countertops
- Backsplash
- Hard-backed chairs
- Stairs handrails

Laundry Protocols

· Wear gloves when doing laundry

· Avoid shaking dirty laundry

· If possible, launder items using the warmest water setting appropriate for the garment

Cleaning Products

As you know we are committed to non-toxic cleaning. The products we use for both general cleaning and disinfecting are non-toxic and safe on all surfaces. They are from the brands Shaklee and Simple Green. They are also highly concentrated which put us in a good position as we have plenty of it. However, we have ordered more to stock up in case of future backorders. Our disinfectant kills germs, bacteria and viruses and we are mixing them at a higher ratio to ensure everything is being disinfected properly.

We will continue providing All Purpose Cleaner and Disinfectants. If you prefer to provide your own cleaning products please let me know which kind so that we can let the person know and ensure she knows ahead of time and how to use it.
