Did you know that a cell phone is up to 7 times dirtier than a public toilet?

We take this device everywhere and its surface attracts all kinds of dirt and bacteria. That said, it is VERY important that we clean it regularly. 

Here are some simple steps to clean and disinfect your phone (and your case)

PHONE

1. Unplug your phone, turn it off and remove its case to clean it separately.

2. Wipe down your phone with a clean, dry microfiber cloth to remove dirt, debris and oil from your skin and/or make up.

3. Mix Distilled Water and Isopropyl Alcohol (70%) in a small spray bottle. 

4. Slightly spray on microfiber cloth with the mix.  Never spray the phone directly and do not over-wet the cloth. 

5. Wipe your phone with damped cloth. Make sure to clean front, back and sides.

6. Make sure you clean small areas like camera lens and speaker. Clean with a cotton swab, again slightly damp with the mix.

7. Let it dry for 20 to 30 minutes before you turn it on.

Case

Most cases are plastic and silicone and that makes it easier to clean

1. Removed it from the phone and wash it with warm water and a little bit of dish soap. Make sure you clean the edges with the help of a cotton swab

2. Once is clean, disinfect it by liberally spraying alcohol mix. Let it sit for at least 5 minutes to let alcohol do its job.Make sure you clean all edges with the help of a cotton swab. 

3. Wipe down with a clean cloth and let if dry completely for 20-30 minutes before put it back on your phone.
