PERFECT BED

Making the bed every day is the first step for a more productive day. I firmly believe that taking those extra minutes and making your bed will create a huge impact on your day.

That's why today we want to show you how to make your bed perfectly!

The first thing you should know is that if you make your bed correctly when you change the sheets, it will be much easier to make it every day.

1- Fitted sheet

Pay attention when putting the fitted sheets as they tend to get wrinkled very easily. Make sure you put corners all the way down wrapping the corner of your mattress.

2- Flat sheet

Same as fitted sheet, try to accommodate it so it's wrinkle free. Use your mattress as your guide so line up the top of your flat sheet with the top edge of your mattress making sure it's even on the sides.

3- Blanket

If you use a blanket, place it about 6 inches below the top edge of your mattress so you can fold the sheet over it.

4- Hospital folding

The remaining fabric at the feet from both, flat sheet and blanket, will be folded under the mattress. Make sure the corners are folded evenly so they don't come off.

5- Comforter

Your comforter should always be as straight as possible. Make sure it's even on both sides AND make sure the bottom is covering your mattress.

6- Pillows

I think this is what makes or breaks a perfect bed. If your pillow cases are bigger than your pillow, make sure you fold any extra fabric so the pillow looks nice and wrinkle free. Also, put the open areas towards the middle of the bed so you don't see extra fabric hanging on the sides

As for decorative pillows make sure tags and zippers are facing down so you don't see them.

7- The final touch

Many of us use a blanket at the bottom of our bed for decorative purpose or to cover our feet when we rest.

Depending on how big the blanket is, fold it in two or thirds so it gives that extra touch to your bed.
