When possible, I love to make my own cleaning products.

Today we want to share with you how to make toilet bombs!

Believe it or not, you will only need 4 ingredients! Follow next steps carefully, which will allow you to make between 16 to 20 toilet bombs.

Ingredients

1 ½ cup of baking soda

1/3 of Cup of citric acid

Water in a spray bottle

3 types of essential oils (we recommend lavender, tree tea oil, citrus) 

Preparation

1. Mix citric acid and baking soda well in a bowl

2. Add 30 drops of each essential oil and mix until it is uniform 

3. Gently spray small amounts of water while mixing

The reason I prefer spraying the water is because the mix of baking soda and citric acid will effervesce and we want to do this in the toilet not while making it.

4. Mix it until you create a consistency of wet beach sand or snow, not to watery, not to hard, just damp

5. Put it in an ice tray and pressed hard to make compact tablets. 

6. Wait overnight or put it in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 hours

And there you have your own toilet bombs! Put one on the toilet and you will see how it starts working. Plus the scent of essential oils will give your bathroom a spa feeling.
