Do you think that your drawers are too messy and you don't know how to fit all of your clothes?

Do not worry!

In today's post we want to teach you how to properly fold and organize your T-shirts!

Why drawers are so messy!

There are two main reason why our drawers get messy so quickly. The first reason is because our t-shirts are not folded correctly. Some are folded widely and others are folded narrowly.

The second reason is because they are stored on top of the other, which makes it practically impossible for us to remove one of them without messing up the others.

Fold while it is still warm.

Folding your clothes as soon as they come out of the dryer can prevent wrinkles thus making them look nice when you take them out of the drawer. It is also much easier to fold while they are still warm. I highly recommend this method!

How to fold them

I absolutely love the KonMari method. I have been doing this for a long time and made a small twist to it and it is truly a life-changer!

- On a flat surface, face your t-shirt down.

- Use the neck of the t-shirt as your guide and fold both sides inward. Make sure sleeves are folded nicely as well.

- Once you have a long rectangle fold in half and then fold in half again. Or even better fold in thirds the second time!

See figure for reference:

How to store them

Once t-shirts are folded put them in your drawer in a vertical way, like a file system. That way you can see everything you have in the drawer.

I suggest you place then in order: short-sleeves, V-neck, long sleeves, etc. so they way they are even more organized and easier to identify!
