1- Items you need:

-Disinfectant. Remember cleaning is not the same as disinfecting. You can either buy one or you can make your own! (See how you can do it here)

-Powder to scrub the interior of bowl. Our favorite? Baking soda or BonAmi

-Toilet brush and paper towel

-All purpose cleaner or glass cleaner for finial touch

2- How to:

-Spray the disinfectant inside and out of the toilet bowl. As well as the lid and seat. Let it rest for a few minutes so the disinfectant can do its job.

-After it soaked for a few minutes clean the interior with toilet brush making sure you get to all areas, crevices and curves. Don't forget the rim where water comes out as they tend to get moldy.

3- How to clean with the sponge:
With the sponge we will reach all the parts that we do not reach with the toilet brush, that is, not in the internal parts but external and in those that are in contact with the skin of those who use the bathroom.

4- The rinse:

To remove excess of powder rinse with water. You can sprinkle some water from a container or spray so it doesn't get over wet.

5- The final touch:
Once is all clean make sure you dry it properly so you don't have water marks. Spray some all purpose cleaner or glass cleaner on a paper towel and buff it off to make if shiny. We absolutely love microfiber cloths, however we prefer to use paper towel on the toilet to prevent cross-contamination.
