1- Flat head mop
Without a doubt this is a very useful product since it is multipurpose. It may seem that it only serves to clean floors, but it can be used to clean walls, windows, etc.
We put a dry cloth to remove fine dust from floors (and walls!), and then use a damp cloth to mop floors. Really a multifunctional tool!
Our favorite: Swiffer mop.
2- Microfiber cloths
We love using microfiber cloths. They not only are a great cleaning tool, but also help us reduce the use of paper towels which means less waste in landfills.
And as we love multifunctional tools we use microfiber cloths in many different ways: dry to dust, slightly wet with a solution to clean and disinfect, and to mop floors!
We also color code them to avoid cross contamination. We did a full post about microfiber cloths here so you can go over that post to learn how to use them on different surfaces.

3- Vacuum
Without a doubt this is our favorite of all our products, we will try to list its main benefits although there are undoubtedly many more.
First I would like to start by saying how important it is to have a vacuum. Regardless if you have wall to wall carpets or bare floors, having a vacuum will save you so much time and will help you to keep your home clean and healthy.
When choosing a vacuum we always recommend Miele, as it is the one that check all boxes. We love that it uses a bag so dust and debris are contained in the bag and that make it easy to throw away, avoiding dust to go back in the air. It also has different floor attachments for hardwood/bare floors and carpet and it comes with three small pieces to clean upholstery, corners and crevices and a brush for more delicate surfaces.

4- Dish soap
If you have no cleaning products at all, dish soap will do the job. When making your own cleaning products and disinfectants you will improve its performance by adding a few drops of dish soap.
We love Mrs Meyers products because not only they provide excellent technical performance, but also they are natural (non-toxic and chemical-free), they have essential oils which give them an exquisite aroma, they are not tested on animals and they are also economically priced (depending on where you buy them).
They also have hand soap, laundry detergent, and much more.
